The Environmental Law Center at Widener University School of Law has published an in-depth comparison of the Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidates’ positions on issues related to sustainability. The comparison is available here. The comparison is a side-by-side breakdown on 11 key issues like climate change, clean energy, sustainable agriculture, green jobs/green business, and more.
Widener law students Austin Langon and Mark Wendaur researched the candidates’ views and wrote the comparison. The result is a clear, succinct comparison of the two men vying for Pennsylvania’s highest office.
Tom Corbett and Tom Wolf frequently mention these issues on the campaign trail, both about themselves and their views of their opponent. Voters also are exposed to significant advertising designed to position the candidates, and at times take aim at the opponent. The Center boiled down the issues and presents an unbiased view of the candidates with regard to sustainability, so voters can decide for themselves before Election Day.
The Environmental Law Center does not endorse candidates and the online project cautions that no endorsements should be implied.
